It wasn’t just an individual achievement; it revealed a real need for tangible support that wasn’t being met, spaces where parents could connect, share, and be acknowledged, without any pressure around money or status. That need sparked the creation of Mamma Social Co. I wanted to reshape the field of parenthood, one connection at a time. Motherhood softened me, making me more considerate of others and their perspectives.

A friend once remarked I had become a "kinderperson," which rings true for me. I am less preoccupied with promotions or rigidly instructing students when I led Musical Theatre programs at Newcastle College. Now, I emphasize holistic well-being and the small, impactful ways we can boost one another. This outlook is central to why I founded a business valuing connection and community above profit or acclaim. Holding responsibility at home and in business simultaneously is an ongoing balancing act.
